Mother's Day

Jackson gave me the cutest card this morning. He's the only one of my sweet children who cared enough to recognize me. The sensitive one...

My aunt Nancy drove up from Colorado Springs to take me out for Mother's Day. It was heavenly. I enjoyed every second with her today. She took me to the mother's day brunch at the Hyatt in Denver. Oh so very nice. The food .. delightful! The company .. even better! We talked and ate and talked some more. We drove and talked and talked some more. We even caught an hour of sacrament meeting to listen to her dear friend give a talk.

I loved my Mother's Day. Truly it was a treasure of a day. I didn't want it to end.

But it has. And now I am surrounded by reality. I guess that's not so bad. I am listening to my children play. Grateful that I am their mother. Grateful that they are happy and healthy and well.
