"MOOOOM!!
"I'm up here" I whisper. Don't they know I am extremely busy (flossing my teeth) Maybe .. maybe .. maybe they won't hear me. Nope, both boys come running up the stairs. Eli in a panic. He has that all-hell-is-about-to-break-loose look on his face.
I brace. Here it comes.
"Jack and Jackson keep throwing rocks at me". The poor pitiful me eyes look up at me.
"Do something mom"
Jackson standing behind him rolling his eyes.
I give Jackson the evil eye mom look and ask "WHY?"
In comes the confrontational shouting match ... half of which I can't even understand. Just sounds something like this.. "YOU" ... blah blah blah .. and "FAULT" ... blah blah blah.. and "THROWING" ... I figure I could jump in but then I would also get lost in all the blah's.
The shouting stops.
Eli calmly .. poor me "just why would you ever want to throw rocks at me Jackson?"
Jackson calmly "Seriously. Eli you threw them at us first".
Eli "YEAH YEAH YEAH .. well, that doesn't mean you should throw them BACK". Duh!
Jackson looks at me and mouths "see??", walks away.
Eli ... magically over the trauma. "Can I floss my teeth too?"
Such entertainment. Glad I didn't have to waste a lot of my own hot air on that one.
