SEPTEMBER 21st, 2009.
That's today. That date to me says it's fall. Leaves should be changing .. just starting to cool down ... days are warm enough to open windows, but cool enough at night for possibly a sweatshirt.
That would be anywhere in the United States BUT Colorado.
Because I live in Colorado, this date actually means SNOW. Who knew?
I thought it was just simply going to be a drab, gloomy, rainy day. Got more than I bargained for as I drove up to Denver this morning. Rain, then sleet ... then big flakes. A chilling 32 degrees. By the time I got back to Castle Rock ... it was actually sticking to the cars and the ground.
I came home and took a nap. Dreamed of places that are still warm ...
Talk about a foul mood.

I hear ya...I was kind of under the impression that fall is supposed to make an appearance before winter. Sigh...

You inspired me to take a nap today. It was lovely and warm, at least in my dreams.
