Dottie

My good friend Dottie came to Denver this week and yesterday we spent the day together. I love Dottie. She used to live here in Castle Rock and moved last year. Too soon. She was the very first person I met when I moved here. The very first friend I made. It was so meant to be. We became instantly bonded. She was the Relief Society president and I soon became her secretary. Working together quickly turned into a friendship that will last a lifetime. She knows my very soul.

A favorite memory of Dottie was when we decided that we would play tennis together at a park on a regular basis. Talk about a comedy act. Seriously .. if we weren't chasing balls we were laughing so hard it could hardly be considered 'playing'. A work out? Certainly.

So our day yesterday was filled with memories, catching up and shopping. It ended up to be "Club Tuesday" at Ross. Who knew? Dottie whipped out her ID for her 10% discount. No one asked me for mine .. I am clearly not in that club and felt a bit left out. We walked downtown Arvada into some quaint little shops. Spent money .. ate at the cutest sandwich shop ... and drove around in her cute little Prius.

This is one girl whom I will never lose contact with. She's that kind of friend. Genuine. Loving. A keeper.

I love your every being Dottie!!
