We went from hideous pink ALL over the ceiling and baseboards and window sills .. to even more HIDEOUS Peptol Bismol pink to cover that up. That bad paint job stayed on the walls forever because it was just too painful to try to fix (again). Last week I decided I could not look at that room a day longer. It even bothered me from afar as the room glowed at night. After just walking in and then walking back out .. my other walls looked neon yellow.
So I found just the right pink. Painted two walls pink and the other two a beautiful chocolate brown. Of course, had to paint the entire ceiling as well to cover up the mess she made with the first pink. I don't have anything on her walls yet but that huge, never ending paint job is finally done.
Seriously .. FIVE months later.
I told her to enjoy this room because the next time she gets a room makeover is in her very own apartment or dorm room or house or prison cell. Whichever it ends up being .. SHE will be doing it.

Only five months? I have been staring at a bad color choice in my hallway for 3 years.
