Well, this weekend Hayley pierced the cartilage in her ear. At the very top. Yes, SHE did it. On her own ...
Maybe her ear will fall off from the infection that will soon come from whatever un-sterile way she chose to do it (and no, I didn't even ask).
The only comfort I give myself is ..
at least it wasn't her nose
or her eyebrow
or her belly button
I'm worn out ..
Oh and I do have another son .. his name is Jackson. I rarely get to talk about him because the other two steal the spotlight. Poor child. He's the middle .. go figure.

I think we've scared my kids into not piercing their nose, etc. Jason and I pierced our noses in college and a year or so ago Jason got skin cancer from the scar tissue from the piercing. He had a huge hole dug out of nose and then had to have a skin flap flipped from his cheek on to his nose. That's one of our mistakes that I definately think our children won't repeat.
