Family and friends..
This year for Thanksgiving my sister invited our entire family to join her in-laws in Aurora for a day of eating and playing.
She truly married into the most awesome family ever. Close knit, traditional rich -Hawaiian family. They oh -so- totally rock. Really, her in-laws Bonnie and Lawry are the most generous, caring ..non judgemental people I know. When Bonnie hugs you .. it feels as if she has known you for years. I love these people. Since the wedding of Natalie to Joe .. they have certainly taken in our family as well. When I moved here two years ago, I had no idea that her family would be such an integral part of my own.
So this year we celebrated in their ward's church building. Big enough to spread out on one side of the gym for eating and on the other side, enough room for basketball, volleyball and throwing of the football (which didn't always stay on the intended side).
When Bonnie makes a meal .. she really goes all out. There was SO MUCH FOOD. Yummy food. Filling food. Warm and inviting food. Just like the Doxey family.
Bonnie also organized a game of Bingo with the group. Complete with sweet prizes.
It was a wonderful day with wonderful people .. family.. friends ... kids .. babies ... sweetness.
Thank you Doxey family for inviting us into your lives (and to turkey dinner). I certainly adore you!

I love that you guys were in the gym - what a great idea for spreading out! And oh my gosh, I can't believe how big Travis is! Such a cutie!
