Colorado winter skin

This is what winter means to Eli. Poor guy... I can't fix this for him. He hates, detests, loathes any type of lotion and when I try to put it on him - he immediately sneaks and washes it off.

I try to put some vaseline on these hands while he's asleep. If I remember.

Winter + Colorado = Extreme dry skin for my baby...

My kids have it too-- just not as bad. I get it on my thumb. Hate it.

Frank used to have it -- then he started doing Mary Kay's satin hands treatment...he'd love that I told you (and everyone else that)! Poor little guy...ouch!

Ryan's hands were the same way and it hurt him to wash his hands. I put a thick layer of Eucerin(equate brand)on his hands. It immediatley took the sting away.
Good luck!

I have bad exzema too. In the exact same place. It's always the worst on my knuckles. The only things I can put on them when they are cracked and bleeding like that are vaseline, vitamin E, and Calendula gel (a homeopathic gel I get from Whole Foods). Poor guy.
