Pepsi Center ... Nuggets .... Court-side seats ...
That all equals a fabulous night!
So Eli's basketball coach (he's so awesome) gave us tickets to see the Nuggets last night. I asked Hayley if she wanted to go and she looked at me like I had three heads. I took that as a definite 'no' and started making plans to take Jackson and Eli.
We went with the coach and a friend of his. It was so cute to watch the boys .. they were in complete awe. Didn't speak .. didn't want anything to eat ... didn't move. They were sitting right under the basket. The high-light of Jackson's night was that he got to touch the basketball as it skimmed his head into the crowd behind him. A few minutes into the second quarter, Hayley texts me. "I just saw you on TV mom." Then she got mad. Really mad. "what are you going to give ME?" What?? "well, the boys got to go to the game .. what do I get??!!". This girl never quits.
I was in complete awe as well. As to how HUGE these guys actually are. MASSIVE. I knew they were big .. but seeing them right in front of me was an entire different experience.
I love basketball. It's my favorite sport. None of us have ever been to an NBA game so last night was just a little special. It was magical .. I felt like my eyes were sparkling.
Thanks to a super fly coach (Bryan). You rocked our world....

That is so cool that you got to go and SO funny about Hayley, saw that one coming.
Glad you and the boys had fun. What great memories!
Awesome! I'm so jealous. I love going to the Nuggets games. I would have watched for you on tv if I'd known you were there, I wonder if Cliff still has it recorded...
I once had coffee with the Birdman. Well, actually he was at Starbucks when I was. At the time, I didn't even know who he was. The cashier told me and I was like "Who's that" Boy did I feel like a dork.
