Just didn't like the thinking sheet. Alyssa .. I do think it's a good idea to make them reflect on their behavior. That wasn't my issue. Eli has been having a hard time with ... himself lately. He thinks he's a "bad" kid. He says it quite frequently to me ... and it hit a cord with me that day when I read it on his paper .. that he feels that way about himself.
So it wasn't the teacher thinking he was bad ...
We've got some issues right now and my post was pretty emotionally sparked.
I apologize to Teacher. She's still great. And I still love her.
*Oh and Sean let me in on one of his pet peeves about me. I always spell the word OOPS .. as OPPS. I took a peek at older posts and realized I indeed do spell it that way. Thought about correcting it, but why? Everyone already knows I'm an idiot. It's kind of like my public reminder.
OPPS...

The oops thing is funny because lately I think EVERYONE spells it Opps-- a pet peeve of mine too! I am sad the Eli feels like a bad kid-- that is the last thing as parents we want to hear from our kids. I think if anything, that is the issue they should address, instead of the "potty" talk that is no big deal. The teacher, as sweet as she is, and the other powers that be need to get the point across in a different way.
