I'm a little behind with the blog .. Memorial Day was Monday ... better late than never.
After Bolder Boulder I picked up the kids (sans Hayley .. not feeling so great that day) and headed to Chatfield to hang with Ally and Brett on the boat. Can I say I was able to exhale? On the water .. sun was out .. slight breeze .. warm. All a serious recipe for happiness.
Summer is FINALLY HERE IN COLORADO!!
So we hung out on the boat for a few hours. So heavenly. The boys had fun even though neither one was brave enough to get into the water. Okay, so neither was I .. but there was no need to. Ally's kids got in ...did the tube (again, my boys didn't join in that activity either) .. and were happy.
I was happy. Did I mention that? As I sat on the boat I closed my eyes and said a little thankful prayer for good friends ... and for warm weather that was wrapping around me like a comforting blanket.

I'm loving the warm weather too. It's too bad we had to skip Spring entirely though...
