Welcome summer!
I'm in my element.
Sky's are blue. Water is warm. Sun is hot.
The kids aren't off track yet. Just a few more days ... and then they will have their freedom.
I've been at the pool a lot lately. I love listening to kids play... laughing ... watching little girls lay on the side of the pool on the warm concrete playing and giggling. Reminds me of summer's when I was a little girl. Carefree ...

Popsicles ... playing until 10pm cause it's still light and warm out ... the sound of crickets at night ...
I've been ready for this for month's now. So glad it's here. And I have to admit for all the complaining I did during the winter months about Colorado... there's really no place like this in the summer. It's dry. Even when it's 90 degrees out .. it's still pleasant. Unlike the south or east where you walk out and it's hard to breathe because of the humidity.
Yup, I think I'm about to say it ...

I have to agree. Coming from Michigan's horrible humid summers, this place is paradise.
All this good weather makes me forget what a miserable winter we had! Just hope it's a long summer babe!!
