Casually (typical) Eli brings this up:
"oh yeah, mom .. yeah, I had to see the principal on Friday. What's on tv?"
WHAT???
"Eli what exactly did you have to see the principal for??"
"well, I can't actually remember that part."

OMGosh - that cracked me up...mostly b/c its not my kid! :)
I know, right? My favorite is when John tells me he had to go to the principal's office but it didn't count because she wasn't there.
