Welcome Spring

March 20th. First day of spring. A week later.. blizzard in CO.


How upsetting. I knew it was going to be bad when schools closed on Thursday without a snowflake in the sky. Two hours later .. it was like a white out. I tried to go out in it ... decided it wasn't a good idea and then it took me an hour to get home (less than 10 min away from my house when I turned around).


So welcome to spring - in Colorado. I know we needed the much needed moisture for the grass. But still. That's what January is for.


Snow makes me depressed. Bored. Hungry. Tired. So I spent all day eating my way out of boredom. It was just a blah kind of two days until it stopped. Today is Sunday and it's going to be 50. Lots of it has melted .. but lo and behold, there's another storm predicted for this upcoming week.

Come now ... have a cup of hot chocolate with me and let's all sing Christmas songs. Let's start with :

"Let It Snow" ... 'since we've no place to go .. let it snow, let it snow, let it snow'
