My Baby

Eli turned 7 on May 20th. My baby. The years have flashed by ..

My favorite things about Eli ..

* I love that he's so independent. He doesn't rely on anyone unless he can't do it himself first.

* I like his thick body ... he's gonna rock at sports.

* I love it that he still will kiss me goodnight. It's only goodnight .. but I'll take it.

* That he's always concerned about his hair. Cracks me up.

* He loves to drink water. Prefers it. What kid does that? I think it's fabulous.

* He's a good friend.

* I love how he looks up to his big brother Jackson.

* He has this tough exterior. I love knowing I am the only one on the planet that gets to see his sensitive side. He will only show it to me if he is confident no one else is around.

* I love when he tells me he loves me. It's the sweetest sound.

My baby is growing up. It makes me a bit sad. Lately he is into asking me how old he's going to be when Jackson leaves home. He's worried about that .. which is adorable to me. He loves his brother. What that made me realize though is that I will get to have him all to myself when Hayley and Jackson move out. For a couple of years anyway.
