It's a male.

He's 17.

He's Hayley's boyfriend's friend.

He comes to the house occasionally.

Never really talked to the kid.

He seemed shy.

But apparently not via text.

him "hey this is *****. I turn 18 next week"

me "that means?"

him "I won't be a minor anymore"

me "oh funny"

him "so ill see you next week when I'm 18"

me "ur pushin' it aren't you? brave on texts .."

him "haha. ok. but ill need a birthday kiss next week"

He never showed.

That's a good thing.

Rejection can be hard on a new semi-legal kid ... that's okay .. he can go buy himself a pack of smokes ..
