The day after the ER visit I had an early dentist appointment. This was also the day after the night it snowed.
Slick roads.
I hate driving in snow. BMW lies when they say their "x drive" is awesome in snow. It's not. Even with new tires. Even though it's "all wheel drive". It's the car .. trust me .. NOT the driver.
So I got all the way to University (30 min drive) to the light RIGHT before I turned into my dentist's office. I look in my rear view mirror as I'm stopped at the red light ... there's a car coming ... and I realize they aren't going to stop. And nope ... they didn't. The car slammed right into my rear.
Good news ... it was another BMW. Good news .. she has good insurance. More good news .. it was her fault.
Bad news ... the rental car they are giving me while mine is being repaired is a Toyota. Really? I asked them if they knew who I was. That I couldn't be seen driving around in something like that. That I'm kind of a big deal. That I want another beamer to drive. Yeah .. they didn't care. And I'll be driving that inferior car all this week....
I REALLY am a bad driver BUT this time ... it totally wasn't my fault.
I didn't even blog about the incident right before Christmas with this car. Another snow day. Took it in to get some routine maintenance done at the dealership. (for which THEY gave me another beamer to drive .. they get it) Got a call about an hour later saying they had bad news. They ran into another car in the parking lot with my car. They had to replace the front bumper
That wasn't my fault either.
Now I get a new rear bumper.
I DON'T WANT ANY MORE NEW PARTS ON MY CAR!!!!
All because of snow. I hate snow.
