Tonight was a fish stick dinner kind of a night. As I was putting the fish sticks on paper plates for the kids I looked at the frozen broccoli on the counter and said ...
"Ahh .. we don't need veggies tonight ... let's just forget those and eat like crap"
... enter "the rule follower" ...
Jackson "moooom!!! NO!! We HAVE to have our vegetables!"
And just as he says that Eli flies through the door. Red cheeks ... grinning ear to ear ...
"MOM!! It was so freaking cool ... we just set off three CO2 cartridges outside. They blew up right in front of my face. COOL HUH??!!"
The differences in my two boys who have been parented the same way is stark.
.... and just as I'm finishing up this blog post, Eli runs into the room and says "mom - is there any way you can get my shoe off the roof?"
