On prom 2011 ...

Last night was Douglas Co High School's prom night.

Hayley has been psyched about this for MONTH'S. She found the perfect dress ... in her favorite color. Convinced Jacob to wear pink to match...yeah - she's that good. She walked down the stairs and I couldn't hardly control myself. I seriously felt like I was going to prom. Beautiful. It was one of those proud moments for me as a mom. She was beaming .. I was beaming and BOY did Jacob ever beam when he walked in to see her. He kept saying "wow .. wow ... " He would hug her and then hug her again. When she turned around backwards for me to take a picture I could hear him sigh. He's in love. And that's okay ... cause it's with my daughter .. and he's an AWESOME boy.

Hayley had a similar reaction when she saw him for the first time. "HOT DAMN" I think were her exact words. Who doesn't love a boy in PINK?? They went with a big group to eat .. then to prom in Denver at Infinity Park and then back down with the group for after prom. She clearly didn't sleep ... I called her at 5am and they were chowin' down on McDonald's. So glad this day was a fairy tale day for my girl. Who doesn't deserve good memories like this? A few pics ...
