Okay. Back. August has come and gone. September has come ... and on it's way out. About time I pick this up again.
For this post ... because I'm so overwhelmed (yet underwhelming) I'll just throw out a bunch of randomness.
For the most part that's how my life is ... a bunch of random .. mixed with occasional planned out nonsense.
Ready ... set ....
Hayley and I like Boba drinks. Don't know what that is? Google. I'm too far behind to explain the little things.
There were a lot of dentist trips this summer. Good news ... everyone is caught up. Until we aren't again.
I love when my kids sleep. You know ... cause it's peaceful.
Tip. If you are a grown man. At the pool with your 7 year old daughter and 3 of her friends ... you just shouldn't read 50 Shades. You look gay and creepy all in one package.
Tall socks are "cool" now ... yeah, even pink ones.
A new gallon of milk + 4 friends over + a bowl of cereal for a snack = only a half a gallon of milk and 2 empty boxes of cereal.
I can run with a parachute behind me. Like NFL players do. I can play.
Classroom orientation. I listened to nothing. Because I was too busy tapping Eli with my foot. And then he would ignore me. So I would tap more. So then he would look at me and I'd mouth "what?"
Also ... it's pretty evident that awkward parents beget awkward children. aka - boy in the sunglasses.
I had to linger before leaving... just so I could listen to the awkward boys awkward mom talk to the teacher.
"I'm concerned with the safety of the mobile. Do you lock the door when you are in here? What if a child goes to the bathroom? Do you lock the door behind them? How will they get back in? Do you carry the key around with you? How do you control the temperature in this mobile? What if my child gets cold .. or hot ... will you adjust it?". He doesn't really have a chance .. but for starters .. take off the sunglasses kid.
Who's the coolest mom ever? Yeah .. those are records on Jackson's wall. High five buddy.
When you are 65 don't wear biker shorts with a rainbow ketchup shirt. To eat breakfast. Not. Hot.
Fun times with friends ...
It's been confirmed. I'm a pretty big deal. Yeah .. that's me on the flyer for this year's Run the Rocks race.
Mom went in the break room at Kaiser while working .. looked up .. and there I was. Which pretty much makes her a big deal too. Cause I came from her womb.

You just crack me up -- as does the creepy guy reading 50 shades at the pool!
Of course you're a big deal! We already knew that before you made the cover.
50 Shades? He was reading that in front of his daughter and her friends? Do you think he assumed they wouldn't know what it was? Surely he must write book reviews for a living or something. No normal man reads that except for research when forced at gunpoint.
I went to school with a kid who wore gloves and sunglasses, like some third world dictator or Michael Jackson. He turned out to be gay later in life. Just sayin.
