Eli turned 11 .. May 20.
I know he's my baby. But he also feels older than 11 to me.
I think maybe because he hangs out with all of Jackson's friends ... so I expect him to act and think like they do.
It's good to have these days as a reminder that ... he's still my baby boy.
He's the only one that still randomly gives me hugs and kisses. The only one not really embarrassed to hang out with his mom. The one that can tell I'm having a bad day and just wants to make me feel better.
Happy Birthday ... to my funny, sensitive, active, full of life little boy.
He still loves to long board. There aren't any toys in the house anymore. Unlike his brother .. he never plays video games. He'd rather be outside ... riding a bike .. running down the street .. playing hockey ... longboarding to the park .. having air soft wars.
He is rarely bored. Entertains himself ... For example .. I noticed he was carrying the shovel back and forth from the garage every day. Son .. what's up with that? Oh .. I'm digging a hole. A hole? Yeah. A hole. Uh .. in my back yard?? No. Right over the fence. Uh ... okay? He showed me. When he said a hole .. it was like a four foot hole. Why are you digging this? Just to have something to do. Okay then.
He is funny. He says what's on his mind. His personality is pretty amazing. I actually would think that - even if he wasn't my kid. He even makes Hayley laugh. People would pay money to listen to the two of them carry on a conversation.
Happy 11th Birthday .... to my baby boy. I love you. To the moon and back~!
