Mother's Day

I know this was like .. back in ... MAY ... but still.  Even if it's August ... it's still important.

Happy Mother's Day.  To me.  Because I'm a mother. And all.  And to my mom.  Because she's a mother too.  My mother.

I woke up to this ...

I have great kids.  Who do great things for me.  This day .. by kids .. I mean Hayley.  She's always thoughtful.  And included the boys.  Which was even more kind.  She does unexpected little things for me. I know how lucky I am.  

We went to my sister's for mother's day dinner.  In her family ... the guys always cook and clean up. I made my kids make the rice krispy treats to bring.  And I was impressed.  It's always fun to hang out with my family.  This day was no different.  Was fun just being appreciated as a mother.

I can't imagine my life ... not being a mom to these awesome kids.  They are my world.  I know they are great. I'm so blessed .. beyond measure ... to have them call me "mom".
