"hey mom .. I'm gonna make a parachute okay?"

Hours later ...

"okay .. I did it ... can I jump off the banister?"

"okay ... the roof?  because I really need to see if this works"

NO

"fine .. I'm jumping off the fence and don't try to stop me"
