The boys are off track. Three weeks of a lot of free time on our hands. A lot. A lot of time to occupy for them because if I don't .. they fight with each other. Why is that .. boredom = 'I'm going to choke you for no apparent reason'?? Sometimes they can be the best of buds but other times ... I tell ya, I think they might do permanent damage to each other. Jackson does this hit and run thing. He knows Eli can tear him up. My little 6 year old is tough...
Anyway, I took them to the Denver museum of Nature and Science. We have been several times. Each time I let them pick out three rooms to visit. If we try to do it all it becomes too much. The dinosaur room is always at the top of the list. I was surprised this trip they both really wanted to do the gems and minerals. We spent the most time in that section. What always surprises me is that they never want to do the Space section. What kid doesn't like space and rockets and planets? Mine.
What's awesome about going to museums (or the zoo) with my boys, is that we are all ADD. Really. There's no stopping and looking and reading. We look and observe as we quickly move right on through. Next. Next. Next. We were done in an hour. Perfect.

My kids love the natural history museum as well. Their favorite things to look at are the bugs and the dinosaurs. That's it. They don't even know what's in the part of the building. Oh well. Whatever keeps them happy, right?
This is hilarious!! I swear I'm reading about my boys. The only difference is Devin will stop and read every little detail.
Really?? So yah, you won't want to take us along...we might be at the museum for at least 3 hrs.
Now I'm cracking up -- that's how I shop...next, next, next...home! Maybe I'd really enjoy the museum with you guys!
Looks like you guys had fun. :D
