Hayley is always always thinking about ways to make money. From the time she was little she's done this. Plenty a lemonade stand we've had.



She and Jacob are pretty much the masters at thinking of money making adventures. They've been collecting plastic bottles and cans to recycle for months now. Back in January they stood in line at the grand opening of Baskin Robbins to be one of the first 31 customers to get a year's worth of free icecream. They were #17 and #18. So once a week they go for their free scoop. They also got up at 4am to stand in line at Vitamin Cottage to be one of the first 100 customers to get a free $50 gift card. Yup, they scored two of those as well.



So Sat they passed the signs that announced the community garage sale going on this weekend. They were in. Spent Friday night cleaning out her room and putting stickers on all her stuff. They woke up at 6 and braved the cold and rain for the chance of making some extra cash. They didn't do so well as it was raining that day .. but they certainly had more money than the day before!

Sophie sat in her dog bed on top of the chair for hours while they were out there.


I figure .. she just needs to find a job.
