OMGosh this week has been amazing! In the 60's at the beginning, warming to the 70's yesterday.
Oh it just doesn't get any better. Opening windows, driving with the sunroof open, hiking castle rock, eating lunch on the patio with a friend. I even heard the birds chirping one morning. This kind of weather just makes me feel good from the inside out. I want to break out in song (don't get scared, I'm not really gonna do that)! I just wish this meant spring sprung early .. but I know better. Wouldn't it be cool though if spring just decided it was going to come in January? What was odd this week though was being outside in shorts and then noticing there was still snow on the ground. Not everywhere. Just patches. A stark reminder that YES ALANA it is still January. In fact, snow by this weekend.
Even if it was just a tease .. I'll take a week's vacation anytime in January.
Gotta go. Have to get the snow shovel out and make sure gloves are easily accessible again.

Shew -- I was hoping I wouldn't have to be the barer of bad news...and tell you our 70-degree bliss was about to end! :)
So true friend...Colorado weather is such a tease...but I would relive that day at the rock and lunch outside anyday! Still craving that yummy hummus:)
We are loving it too! Maybe they will be wrong and end won't end soon!
