So ... again Sarah being SO THOUGHTFUL while she planned this wedding ... planned it to be in Palm Coast, Florida. Thank you Sarah ... as this was less than an hour away from ...
ASHLEY!!
Naturally I had to extend my stay. To play. With my best friend. In the warm sunshine. My favorite part of being with Ashley is that we pick up right where we left off. But maybe that's it ... we never really "leave off" ... It's just more of a continuation. I consider myself super fortunate for Ashley to have come into my life. Although .. I believe even more strongly that it was meant to be. We are the same person. Which is probably the reason we never ever fight .. why she never ever gets on my nerves. Truly. I mean .. how can I get on my own nerves?
Impossible.
When I'm with Ashley I revert back to being 13. It's a timeless relationship really. I know that each year we grow older but seriously with Ashley I'm young. And I know it's ALWAYS gonna be like that. When we are 80 .. we will be sitting on the beach tanning our leathery skin laughing about our 'fat asses' ... insisting that the other is skinnier and prettier. So this trip was a quick one. A couple of days before the wedding and a couple after. I treasure every MOMENT I get to spend with this girl.
She loves the sun as much as I do. She loves the beach as much as I do. She loves shopping as much as I do. She loves a good deal as much as I do. She loves to exercise as much as I do. She loves to count calories as much as I do. She loves no bake cookies as much as I do.
Not to mention the fact that when we are together EVERYONE assumes we are sisters. I love that. Because we are. Here are some pictures that capture the memories we made March 2011. (but make no mistake .. this happened to be a 'bonus' trip .. meaning it didn't REALLY count ... I will still be making my annual summer trip)

I miss you Ashley ... my life is better for knowing you. More full because you are in it. I couldn't ask for a better BEST friend. Thank you for being you. Thank you for laughing together until we cry. Thank you for the bond we've formed. It just keeps getting better!
