Because of the fact that I can't ever really get my life together ... I had to do Hayley and Eli's family birthday celebrations .. together.
You are welcome children. Nothing like having a dual birthday party. Makes you feel really ... special.
I take the blame. Life gets overwhelming for me. And then things ... happen.
Give me some credit. Their bday's are only a month apart. I'm good. I'm good. Repeat.
Hayley ... I thought was becoming more of an adult .. and maybe not so much into birthday party themes. I. Was. Wrong.
Mom ... I want my bday over at grandmom's house. It's where I feel like all our family memories are. I love Grandmom's house. Besides .. she does better party stuff than you (wha????).

Mom ... I also want a mermaid themed party. But you are 19 Hayley. Dumbfounded look on her face that said "you've got to be joking". But only the words "so?" came out of her mouth..
Mom .. I want like a REALLY COOL mermaid party okay? Like not cheesy. Classy mermaid. Grandmom can help you (again ... ookkaayy ... what are you trying to say about my party planning and executing??)

Joe and Nati win hands down this year with Eli's gift. It's a bag Joe got on his mission made of llama fur (fur or hair?) .. anyway ... now THAT'S cool!!
